Learn to be an Advocate!


Free Three Day Advocacy Training

Kay Beresford from the Wellington People's Centre in association with the Waitemata Branch of the Unite Union is offering a free, three day advocacy training for people who want to represent beneficiaries and those in the community.
This is a wonderful opportunity for people to learn valuable skills from this experienced advocate and trainer.

The training will be for three days:
Monday 29 August

Tuesday 30 August and

Wednesday 31 August,

9.30am to 4.30pm

The venue will be at the Te Atatu South Community Centre

Edmonton Rd, Te Atatu South

Kitchen facilities are available. There’s a Foodtown supermarket and takeaways nearby. Please bring food and drink either for yourself or to share.

Help- Car Pooling Needed!

Some people have indicated that they will need a ride to the training. If you need or can offer a ride, please let us know.
